Mine Canyon
Coal Mine Canyon, just south of Tuba City, is a striking
combination of red mudstone, bleached white rock and coal
streaks. There are picnic tables on the rim of the canyon,
and the play of sunlight off the different color rocks make
for picturesque photography.
