To enjoy the lakes on the Navajo Nation, you must have a current valid Navajo Nation Fishing License which can be purchased online, click here.
*Note: State fishing licenses are not valid on the Navajo Nation e.g. Arizona and New Mexico. The only exception is the Utah state fishing license on Lake Powell. State “free fishing” days are not observed as well on the Navajo Nation. Typically “free fishing” day occurs annually around Father’s Day.
