Places To Stay
Window Rock – the capital of the Navajo Nation – also pronounced in Navajo as: Tségháhoodzánà (Ts’EH-gUH-ho-dz-aNI). This town borders the New Mexico stateline. While traveling east on Highway 264 and you pass the Navajo Nation Museum & Library, then you crossover to Tsé Bonito, New Mexico – which is a small town off the Navajo reservation. There are plenty of places to visit while in the vicinity of Window Rock, such as, the Window Rock Monument & Veteran’s Memorial Tribal Park; Navajo Nation Museum & Library; Navajo Arts & Crafts Enterprise; and the only Native American operated & owned, Navajo Zoo. After exploring, perhaps you want to make a basecamp at one of the hotels in Window Rock and explore the rest of the Navajo Nation?
